Dress Code

All students shall dress neatly as per the Dress Code of the College.

Male students are to wear clean decent dresses; Formal pants and shirts tucked-in.

Female students shall come in salwar kameez with a pinned up dupatta. Any other kind of dress is to be avoided.

All the students are expected to wear proper formal shoes only. Chappals / sandals are not allowed.

For special occasions / College functions the dress suggested from time to time shall be followed
Dress Code for Laboratories

Male students should wear trousers and shirts (tucked in) for work shops with black shoes and socks as decided by the management.

Female students should wear blue overcoats and black shoes in Physics and Chemistry laboratories.
Appearance & Behavior

All students shall have their hair cut neatly and come to the College groomed well.

Long hairs, jeans, loose dresses and caps are not allowed.

Casuals are not permitted.
-
All students will behave decently and respect the teachers.They shall not do anything amounting to disrespect the teachers

They shall behave courteously with the non teaching staff and visitors

The entire Campus is smoke, tobacco and alcohol free. Violation of the ban will be dealt withy seriously.

Ragging is a serious offence, punishable as per law.

Strict silence shall be observed in the library.

Loitering and making noise in the verandas and other common places are to be avoided

Dress code shall be in force in the library even beyond class hours.

Misbehavior in the class / labs / library / workshops with the staff and co-students is punishable.

The entire campus is strictly a non-smoking area
Attendance
-
While all students are required to follow the mandatory attendance rules, the College expects them to log in 100% attendance.

No student will avail any kind of leave without the knowledge of the concerned advisor

The attendance rules prescribed by the University shall be strictly followed

The students shall avail leave only under unavoidable circumstances. Absence without proper leave application will be viewed seriously.

Leave applications should be signed/counter signed by parents/guardians.
-
Medical leave applications should be accompanied by medical certificate, failing which should be produced in 3 days of joining. As far as possible, prior permission must be obtained. Wherever this is not possible, the leave letter should be submitted on the day of reporting to the College or within two days from the commencement of leave, whichever is earlier.
Discipline

Every student is required to observe disciplined and decent behavior within and outside the College.

They shall not indulge in any activity which is likely to bring down the prestige of the College.

All students will display their Identity Cards on them always.

No student will indulge in any disruptive behaviour in the theory and laboratory classes.

Students will not talk among themselves and if any student is found talking in the class room while the session is on, the class teacher will institute suitable action against him/her.
-
Students will not damage any tool, equipment, furniture or any property of the College.
-
No one shall litter the class rooms and parts of premises.
-
No eatables and beverages should be taken inside the class rooms.
-
Two Wheelers and four wheelers will be allowed to be parked only in the designated places.
